"fraises de maman" is the third piece created for 2009's Collage Mania. This one was made in honor of my mom who has experienced skin cancer. I love, love my mom! And I adore my mama's strawberry pie!

Your quilts are beautiful, but your words are even more so.
I am so lucky to have a daughter like you that loves me unconditionally for who I am. I am truely blessed to have had the chance to bring you into the world and the privilege to call you MY daughter. I am so proud of you and of the woman you have become, and to know that somewhere in there is a tiny bit of me! I am so blessed.
