For anyone who has ever wondered, this is how birds begin to build their nests. They use a complicated, yet practical, coated wire infrastructure.
Then they load it up with whatever they can find. I supposed I was a bit more methodical in my material selection, using only scraps of blue with plenty of orange thread mixed in. Completed nests with birdies and eggs can be seen and purchased at the Artspace member's "Centered" show, now through August 21st. www.artspace-bloomsburg.com
