AMIDST THE CATTAILS
Mock Pie Studio at Ken's Cattails. Also in attendance were Donna Shaffer, Linda Doucette, Mark Golomb, Larry Ney, Marlin and Mary Lou Wagner. We had planned to be outdoors in Ken's nursery and botanical water gardens, but the threat of rain kept us inside. As it turned out, the rain didn't hit until the show was over, but it was cozy and comfy indoors! I hand quilted all day. I'm still infatuated with my new easel. Very compact and simple, yet super effective. See Peck perched on top? He loves it too!Monday, August 24, 2009

BACK TO THE FUTURE
Well, I've worked my blogging way back to looking at the future and what does it hold? Art, of course! Gracie loved her birthday gift of a huge sketch pad and crayons. She flipped the pad open and immediately set to work. May this same fervor carry me through future creative endeavors! Onward! And in the words of Mr. Hanks, "Ride like the wind, Bullseye!" BACK TO THE FUTURE, PART TWO
