GREEN PEACE PIES
Is there such a thing as too much pie? Perhaps less is more? Pish posh! More is more! Bring on the pie! This time it's Green Peace Pie...daisies and all. Far out!Sunday, June 21, 2009
FLOCK OF SEAGULLS
Ok, so not really. Truly, they are doves. Very calm and peaceful for being so jumbled all together, eh?
I'm sure if they had been seagulls, there would have been utter chaos and confusion as they flocked to my hot dog lunch which was delivered to my studio door straight from the grill. Now that's love. Mmmm Mmmmm!Sunday, June 14, 2009
LOVE ME. LOVE MY PIE.
"Love me. Love my pie." My new slogan. Thanks to quilting art royalty Susan Shie for the inspiration. I can't wait to actually hang her Taurus print in the studio. I'll just have to catch Ryan on a good day!
Awww...it's always a good day for Midgers! She's my studio mascot and constant companion...especially when she wants kitty treats. She's a huge proponent of loving me and my pie! Won't you join the cause?GUIDED YARD TOUR
Beautiful red lilies.
A stunning striped lily.
Little Tuna Petunias in the flower box.
This is the result of too much rain.
Dill with baby cukes in the background...I'll soon be making pickles!
RHUBARB!
These morning glories are supposed to bloom red.
I love the flowers in this hanging basket which is good, because they need A LOT of love!
A smaller hanging basket.
Oooh... Ahhh...
More Little Tuna Petunias.
I bought three Charlie Brown Christmas trees at Doug's yard sale and this real bird's nest was snug in the branches of one of them. He said the tree was outside the front door last Christmas and the birds just decided to move in!
Columbine.
Foxglove. Hard to believe it's poisonous, huh? Sunday, June 7, 2009
EVERYONE'S A WINNER!
Samantha..."msmommyandwife" gave you a bit of competition. Still, you are both winners! Yay! Contact me with your mailing info and I will get the artwork out to you!
Love Arlene's peonies! They grew through the fence into my yard. Next year, my light pink and red ones should bloom. So pretty! RHUBARB ENCORE

Yummy! Picked this jar up at the Schoolhouse Garden Market along with some homemade strawberry-rhubarb squares and Sarsaparilla...delish!

John Fogerty loves rhubarb pie!
Garrison loves a good story and "be-bop-a-rebop" rhubarb pie!
